Wrapped is a gift card platform for businesses that sell in more than one place: in store, online, or both. You run one gift card program in Wrapped. A gift card sold in any of your connected sales channels can be checked, used and topped up in all of them, and Wrapped keeps its balance in step everywhere.
Wrapped doesn't replace your point of sale or your online store. It connects to the systems you already use and works alongside them.
What you can do with Wrapped
- Sell and redeem gift cards in the systems you already use. Connect your POS and online store. Wrapped creates each gift card in every connected channel and keeps the balance matched. See How Wrapped keeps gift cards in sync across your sales channels.
- Sell online with the Wrapped web store. Sell gift cards, vouchers and experiences from your own Wrapped-hosted store, with payments through Stripe. You don't need another online store. See Create your Wrapped web store.
- Send branded digital gift cards. Customers get a gift card email in your brand, can add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and can check their balance or send the card to a friend.
- Use physical gift cards. Generate codes for a printer, or import the codes on cards you already have so they keep working. Wrapped doesn't print cards itself. See Using physical gift cards with Wrapped.
- Issue gift cards yourself. Create one card from the dashboard, or many at once as a batch for staff rewards, charities or corporate orders.
- Run promotions. Marketing automations (for example "spend $500, get a $50 bonus"), campaigns and giveaways. Automations and campaigns are on the Pro plan and above.
- See the numbers. Reports cover gift card sales, redemptions, outstanding liability and every adjustment, with CSV export.
- Manage your team and security. Invite staff with roles, turn on two-factor authentication, and review changes in the audit log.
- Connect other tools. Integrations such as Klaviyo, Zapier, Slack and Loop Returns, plus the Wrapped API (Pro plan and above).
- Redeem where there's no integration. The Wrapped Redeem app lets staff redeem gift cards on a phone or tablet.

What Wrapped isn't
- Not a point of sale or payment processor. Your POS or online store takes the payment. The Wrapped web store takes payments through your own Stripe account.
- Not a card printer. Wrapped has preferred printers, but any printer works. See Ordering printed gift cards.
- Not in charge of each platform's checkout rules. Wrapped uses each platform's own gift cards, so what's possible at checkout (such as paying partly by gift card) is decided by that platform. See Paying with a gift card and another payment method.
Plans
Wrapped has three published plans, Basic, Pro and Plus, and a custom Enterprise plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Each plan includes a monthly number of new gift cards, and extra gift cards are charged as an overage on your next bill. See Plans and pricing and Which features are included on each plan.

Common questions
Do I need to replace my POS or online store?
No. Wrapped connects to the systems you already use and uses their own gift card features, or a Wrapped screen inside the POS for some Lightspeed Restaurant systems.
I only sell in person. Is Wrapped still useful?
Yes. You can skip connecting a sales channel, sell gift cards online through the Wrapped web store, and redeem them in person with the Redeem app or your POS once it's connected.
Can I keep the gift cards I've already sold?
Yes. You can import existing gift card codes and balances so they keep working and sync to every channel. See Import existing gift cards from a CSV file and Keep using the physical gift cards you already have.
What happens to my gift cards if I stop using Wrapped?
Gift cards already created in Shopify, Lightspeed and your other channels stay in those systems and keep working there. Wrapped stops keeping their balances in sync between systems. See Cancelling Wrapped: what happens to your gift cards.
