Your web store has its own address, such as https://yourbusiness.wrapped.store, which you can share anywhere or link to from your website. You can also embed the whole store on a page of your own website by pasting in the embed code from Web store › Settings. The store can't run on your own domain name, so embedding or linking is how you keep it part of your site.
Find or change your store's address
Go to Web store › Settings. The address is under Your store › Web address. (This section appears once Stripe is connected.)
To change it:
- Click Edit next to Web address.
- Type the part before
.wrapped.store. Use letters, numbers and hyphens, and pick something that's clearly your business. - Click Save.
If you see "That address is taken or reserved. Try another.", another store already uses it or it's reserved. Choose a different one.
When you change the address, the old address stops working straight away. Update every link, button, QR code and embed code that uses it.
Link to your store or a product
Useful addresses (replace yourbusiness with your store's address):

A product's URL handle is in its editor under Search engine listing. Only Active products open for customers.
Common places to link from: a "Gift cards" item in your website's menu, a "Buy a gift card" button, your email signature, social media profiles, receipts, and a QR code at your counter.
Embed the store on your website
- In Web store › Settings, next to your web address, click Embed on your website.
- Click Copy code.
- On your website, create or open the page you want the store on and add an HTML or embed block (the name depends on your website builder).
- Paste the code and publish the page.
The code places your store in a frame on your page. Customers browse, check out and pay without leaving your site.
Tips:
- The frame has a fixed height. If your page shows a second scroll bar or too much empty space, adjust the
heightvalues in the code. - To embed a single product instead of the whole store, change the address in the code (after
src=) to the product's address. Adding?embedto the end of a product address hides the store's Back link, for examplehttps://yourbusiness.wrapped.store/gift-card/birthday?embed. - If you change your web address later, copy the embed code again.
Help customers find it in search
Each product has a Search engine listing in its editor, where you set the page title, description and URL handle that search engines and link previews use. See Create gift card products for your web store.
Track visits and sales
In Web store › Settings › Conversion tracking, click Edit and enter any of:
- Google Analytics 4 measurement ID (starts with
G-). Find it in Google Analytics under Admin, Data streams, your web stream. - Meta pixel ID. Find it in Meta Events Manager under Data sources.
- TikTok pixel ID. Find it in TikTok Ads Manager under Assets, Events, Web events.
Wrapped sends a page view when someone opens your store and a purchase, with the order value, when they buy. Leave a box empty to stop sending to that platform.
Common questions
Can I use my own domain, like gifts.mybusiness.com?
No. The store's address is always on wrapped.store. To keep customers on your own domain, embed the store on a page of your website.
Is there a "Buy gift card" button I can add to my site?
There's no ready-made button. Add a button or link on your website that points to your store's address or a product's address.
My link shows "Store is not active". Why?
The store is switched off in Web store › Settings, or your Wrapped account isn't active. See Create your Wrapped web store.
My product link goes to the home page instead of the product. Why?
The product isn't Active, or its URL handle has changed. Check the product in Web store › Products.
Can customers check their balance without buying?
Yes. Link to the store's check balance page, and keep Check balance page turned on in Web store › Settings › Design so it's in the store's menu. See The check balance page.
