Wrapped doesn't sync gift cards with Wix, and Wix isn't in the list when you select Add sales channel. Wix Stores orders aren't read by Wrapped, and Wix Gift Cards stay separate from Wrapped gift cards. If your website runs on Wix, the way to sell Wrapped gift cards on it is to link to or embed your Wrapped web store, and the way to redeem them in person is the Wrapped Redeem app or a connected POS.
Sell Wrapped gift cards on a Wix website
- Set up your Wrapped web store (see Create your Wrapped web store).
- Add a button or menu link on your Wix site that opens the web store, or embed it in a page (see Share, link to or embed your web store).
- Customers buy on the web store. Wrapped takes payment through Stripe and emails the gift card.
Gift cards bought on the web store are ordinary Wrapped gift cards: they work in every connected sales channel and in the Redeem app.
Redeem Wrapped gift cards in person
- If you use a POS Wrapped connects to (for example Square, Lightspeed or Heartland Retail), connect it. See Supported sales channels.
- If you don't, use the Wrapped Redeem app on a phone, tablet or computer to look cards up and take the amount off.
Common questions
Can customers redeem a Wrapped gift card at my Wix Stores checkout?
No. Wix Stores checkout can't check or spend Wrapped gift card balances.
Can I import my Wix gift cards into Wrapped?
Wrapped can't read them from Wix. You can bring them in from a spreadsheet (see Import existing gift cards from a CSV file), but after that, a card spent at your Wix checkout won't update Wrapped, and a card spent elsewhere won't update Wix. Choose one system for each card.
I can see a Wix entry in my sales channels. What is it?
Some accounts created through Wix in the past have a Wix entry under Settings › Sales channels. It doesn't sync gift cards or orders, and turning it on doesn't change that. You can disconnect it (see Disconnect or replace a sales channel).
Does Wrapped work with other website builders, such as Squarespace?
