Set up your brand

How to fill in Branding › Brand (business name, logo, icon, header image, colours, font, footer and social links), what each setting changes on emails, PDFs, wallet passes and customer pages, image sizes, and how to copy your brand to the web store.

Updated September 19, 2026

Branding › Brand is where you set your business name, logo, colours, font and footer once. Every customer email, printable PDF and customer page is drawn from it, and your wallet pass can be too. There's nothing to copy into each email: save the brand and everything that uses it updates.

Branding › Brand as described here is part of the new branding, which new accounts start on. If your account is on the classic branding, see Branding: how your brand reaches every gift card.

Set up your brand

    1. Go to Branding › Brand (open).
    2. Optional: select Start from your website, enter your website address and select Get my brand. Wrapped reads your logo, colours and font from the site and fills in the form. If you don't have a website, select No website? Describe the look instead, describe the feel you want and select Suggest a palette.
    3. Work through the sections below, checking the preview on the right as you go. The preview has three tabs: Email (a real gift card email, drawn the way customers get it), Wallet pass and Balance page.
    4. Select Save (or Save brand in the bar at the bottom of the page). You see "Brand saved. Every email, PDF and pass now uses it."

Nothing is saved until you select Save. Start from your website and Describe the look only fill in the form, so check the logo and colours before saving. If Wrapped isn't confident about what it found, it tells you to check them.

The logo and icon must be PNGs because Apple Wallet only accepts PNG images. A transparent background works best. Larger images are fine: they're scaled down to fit.

Colours

SettingWhat it changes
Brand colourButtons, links and wallet passes.
Button textThe text on buttons. If it's hard to read on your brand colour, Wrapped uses a more readable colour instead and shows Button text adjusted with the colour it will use.
AccentOptional. Highlights and badges, such as the box around the gift card code.
Link colourLinks in emails.
TextBody text.
HeadingsOptional. Heading text.
Card backgroundBehind the content of emails and pages.
Page backgroundOptional. Around the card.

Type and style

  • Font: one font for every email, PDF and customer page. The hint under the picker tells you whether it's a font every email app has, or a web font. Email apps that can't load a web font (such as Outlook on Windows) show a close match instead. There's no per-paragraph font setting.
  • Corners: Square, Rounded or Pill, for buttons and boxes.
  • Buttons: Filled or Outline.

A sample under these settings shows a button, a code box and a line of text in your choices.

These appear at the bottom of every email.

SettingWhere it shows
Email from nameOptional. The sender name in customers' inboxes. If empty, your business name is used. Until you send from your own domain, inboxes show it as "Your name via Wrapped". See Send gift card emails from your own domain.
Support email and Support phoneOptional. A "Questions? Email … or call …" line above the footer.
WebsiteOptional. In the footer next to your business name.
Postal addressOptional. In the footer. Many countries require an address in marketing email footers.
Footer noteOptional. A short line of text in the footer.
Social linksOptional. Up to 8 links: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Website.

Every email also has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. You can't remove it.

Copy your brand to the web store

Your web store is a separate site with its own settings, so it doesn't change automatically when you change your brand.

    1. Save your brand first. Apply to web store is unavailable while you have unsaved changes.
    2. Under Web store, select Apply to web store.
    3. Confirm with Apply brand.

This copies your button colour, font, button corners, logo and browser icon to the web store. Nothing else on the store changes. The row then says Matches your brand; after a later brand change it says Out of date until you apply it again.

What saving your brand changes

  • Emails sent after you save use the new brand, usually within a minute. Emails already sent don't change.
  • PDFs use it the next time they're opened.
  • Check balance and gift to a friend pages use it straight away, unless a page still has its own colours from the classic editor (see The check balance page).
  • Wallet passes use your brand colour, icon and header image only if those switches are on in Branding › Wallet pass. Passes already on phones pick up the change the next time they update. See Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.

Common questions

Why won't my logo upload?

The Logo and Icon slots only accept PNG files up to 5 MB. Save your logo as a PNG (a transparent background works best) and try again. The header image and default gift card image also accept JPG, WebP and GIF.

Can I use a different colour on one email?

No. Colours come from your brand for every email so they stay consistent. You can change each email's words and blocks on Branding › Emails.

Does the email from name change the address emails come from?

No. It changes only the name. The address is no-reply@wrappedgiftcards.com until you set up your own domain. See Send gift card emails from your own domain.

My business name in emails is different from the brand's business name. Why?

The footer and header use the brand's Business name. The {{shop_name}} detail you can put in an email's text uses the business name in your account settings. Keep both the same. See Email merge tags.

Can I undo a brand change?

There's no history to roll back to. While you have unsaved changes, Discard in the bar at the bottom of the page puts the form back to what was last saved.

Where do gift card designs go?

Card artwork that buyers choose from is on Branding › Designs. The Default gift card image here is only the fallback when a card has no image. See Gift card designs.
