Export a report to CSV

How to download any Wrapped report as a CSV file or an Excel (.xlsx) workbook from the Export menu, what the file contains (the whole result for your date range and filter, not just the page on screen), how dates and amounts are formatted, and how to open it in Excel or Google Sheets.

Updated September 19, 2026

You can download any report table in Wrapped as a CSV file or an Excel (.xlsx) workbook from the Export menu on the report. The file contains the whole result for the date range and customer email filter you've chosen, not just the rows on the page you're looking at.

Export a report

    1. Go to Reports (open) and open Gift cards, Adjustments or Liability.
    2. If the tab has more than one report, choose the report at the top, for example Summary by sales channel.
    3. Set the date range, and the Filter by customer email if you want one.
    4. Select Export, then Download CSV or Download Excel (.xlsx).
    5. The file downloads (your browser may open a new tab to start it). Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or your accounting tool.

The Summary tab's tiles and charts don't have an export. For those figures, export Adjustments or Summary by sales channel for the same dates.

What's in the file

CSVExcel (.xlsx)
RowsEvery row for your range and filterEvery row for your range and filter
Column headingsThe same headings as the table on screen, such as "Code ending"The same, in bold, with the heading row frozen
Dates and times2026-03-31 14:05:00, in your account's time zoneReal date cells, shown as yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
MoneyPlain numbers with a full stop for decimals, without currency symbols or thousands separatorsNumber cells formatted #,##0.00, without currency symbols
Yes/no columnsTrue or FalseTRUE or FALSE
TextUTF-8, so names with accents open correctly in Excel

Files are named after the report and the time you downloaded it, for example adjustments-2026-09-17-0412.csv. The time in the file name is UTC.

Because money columns have no currency symbol, check the Currency column if you sell in more than one currency.

Tips for spreadsheets

  • Google Sheets: File › Import, upload the CSV, or open the .xlsx directly from Google Drive.
  • Excel and CSV dates: if Excel shows dates as text, use the .xlsx download instead; its dates and numbers are already typed.
  • Totals rows: liability and summary reports start with a TOTAL or ALL row. Leave it out when you add up the other rows yourself, or you'll count everything twice.
  • Large exports can take a little while to start. Keep the tab open until the download begins.

Campaign and automation revenue reports

Revenue reports for a campaign or automation have their own Export menu with the same Download CSV and Download Excel (.xlsx) options. See Marketing campaigns and Marketing automations.

Common questions

Who can export reports?

Owners and Admins, the same people who can open reports. See Team members and roles.

The export has more rows than the table. Why?

The table shows one page at a time (25 rows by default). The export always includes every row.

Can I export the full gift card code?

No. Reports show only the code ending. Open a card with the Giftcard dashboard link to see its full code.

Is the export up to date?

It uses the same data as the report on screen, which refreshes about every 2 hours. See How often reports update.

Can I export as JSON?

No. Exports are CSV or Excel.

Can I schedule an export to be emailed to me?

Not from the standard reports. If AI reports are switched on for your account, Saved reports keeps reports you can run again for any period.
