Find a gift card by code, email or order

How to search the gift card list by full code or last four characters, filter by recipient, buyer, order number, batch, reason, delivery or sync errors, find deleted cards, and export the list.

Updated September 19, 2026

Go to Gift cards › All gift cards and type the full code or its last four characters into the search box. To find a card by the customer's email, name or an order number, click All filters. You can also search from anywhere in the dashboard with the search icon in the top bar (or Ctrl+K / ⌘K).

Search by code

    1. Go to Gift cards › All gift cards.
    2. In the box labelled "Search full code or last 4 digits", type either the whole code or just the last four characters, then press Enter.
    3. Click the code to open a quick view, or click Open for the full gift card page.

How code search works:

  • Exactly four characters searches the end of the code, so 7K2P finds every card ending in 7K2P.
  • Anything longer must be the whole code. Capital letters, spaces and dashes don't matter: abcd1234efgh5678 finds ABCD-1234-EFGH-5678.
  • Part of a code (say, the first eight characters) won't find anything.
  • Search looks at the gift card code only. It doesn't search a separate barcode value saved on imported physical cards.

Search by customer, order or other details

Click All filters, fill in any of these, then click Apply:

Click Clear all in the filter panel, or Clear next to the search box, to start again.

Filter by status

The chips above the search box narrow the list:

RedeemableCards with a balance that aren't voided (and vouchers not yet redeemed)
FullCards with their whole balance left
PartialCards that have been partly used
RedeemedCards with a $0 balance (and redeemed vouchers)
DisabledVoided cards

Find a deleted gift card

Deleted cards are hidden from the list, but a code search still finds them. Type the full code or the last four characters and the deleted card appears in the results.

What you see in the list

Each row shows the code, status, customer, issue date, Balance / value, Revenue and reason. A Sync error badge means the card didn't update in at least one sales channel. See Fixing gift card sync errors.

Only Owners and Admins see full gift card codes in the dashboard. Members and Read-only users see the last four characters, with the rest hidden. See Team members and roles.

Export the list

Click Import / Export › Export gift cards to download the cards that match your current search, status chip and filters as a CSV file. Only Owners and Admins see this menu.

Common questions

A customer gave me their code but search finds nothing

Check for look-alike characters such as O and 0, or I and 1, and make sure you've typed the whole code or exactly the last four. If the card was bought on a sales channel very recently, give it a few minutes to arrive. If it still isn't there, see A gift card wasn't created for an order.

Can I search by the customer's email without opening filters?

In the list, use All filters › Recipient email. The top-bar search looks up gift card codes.

Why doesn't a card show in my list?

It may be deleted (search its code), or it may belong to a different Wrapped account if you manage more than one.
